Baltimore, MD - Jan. 30, 2024  - We are thrilled to share that The Associated has announced the redevelopment of the Park Heights campus, now renamed the Goldsmith Campus.  In addition to a completely renovated Center for Sports & Wellness for the JCC, the new community campus will feature offices for The Associated’s headquarters, the Jewish Library of Baltimore, and the creation of new multipurpose and conference space for the community.  Construction is expected to begin this spring.

The renovation will take place in several phases over a period of 18 to 24 months.  In the final phase, the JCC’s Center for Sports & Wellness will be fully renovated including the fitness center, group fitness studios, and locker rooms.  Throughout this process, the JCC will remain fully operational, and we are committed to keeping you informed about how the changes will impact your experience at the Park Heights JCC.

As quoted in The Associated press release--"According to Barak Hermann, JCC CEO, for the members and users of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore (JCC), this redevelopment transforms a place that has served as our organization’s cornerstone for more than 60 years. The Park Heights JCC, which will be renovated in its entirety, anchors our presence in northwest Baltimore City. Words cannot adequately express how thrilled we are to have this investment into a beautiful new facility for our members and the entire community."  Click here to read more
