We are a friendly pediatric medical practice in Owings Mills, Maryland. The company has been around for over 30 years. We see children up to 21 years of age for wellchecks, sick visits, behaviour visits etc.
About the Position
Wonderful long term job opportunity! Monday through Friday 830am to 5pm.
May leave early Friday afternoon during certain times of the year to take calls remotely if needed. Paid time off and other benefits available. Snack break room and occasional staff lunches provided. Greet families at check in. Copy insurance cards and collect copays etc. Book follow up appointments. Take phone calls and book appointments, or handle requests. Call no shows and cancellations to reschedule. Make notes in scheduler for next days appointments. Help sort faxes and give to provider. Handle emails and print forms for providers or medical assistant to complete. Take in mail, process credit card payments from the mail, and help put away items. Various other medical office assistant tasks.
