Baltimore, MD - Jan. 10, 2024 - On the morning of January 1st, Bais Yaakov Elementary School welcomed over 300 guests to its Owings Mills – Park Heights Campus, for the PTA’s Fathers’ Brunch and Open House. The atmosphere was friendly and uplifting as attendees sat together and enjoyed a delicious and generous brunch buffet of delicacies. Rabbi Duvi Rubin shared inspiring Divrei Torah and a message about the partnership between school and parents, providing motivating lessons for everyone.

Afterward, the fathers were joined by their daughters and were offered to have their pictures taken in photo booths. There was a very positive feeling throughout the overflow crowd, and the girls were happy to have their fathers join them at school. After they returned to class, all of the students were given a special treat for being such great hostesses.

Fathers also had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the elementary school building with its improvements and renovations, as well as our beautiful sprawling campus grounds.

It was an extraordinary morning and a wonderful opportunity for Bais Yaakov fathers to connect with the hanhalah, board members and each other, while getting a taste of the incredible school their daughters attend.

We would like to thank all of the dedicated volunteers and staff members who helped make this event such a success. Specifically, thanks to our PTA presidium, Mrs. Layah Greenfield, Mrs. Tamar Zelcer, and Mrs. Bassie Stein, who along with Mrs. Perri Goldenhersh led the way for this event and give so generously of their time, creativity and energy for many PTA initiatives throughout the year.

Bais Yaakov hopes to continue offering additional such opportunities in the future to engage our parents in their daughters’ chinuch. B’ezras Hashem, may we all continue to share in the nachas of our students.
