Areas Affected: The District of Columbia, portions of Maryland (Anne Arundel, Cecil, Central and Southeast Howard, Central and Southeast Montgomery, Prince Georges, Southeast Harford, and Southern Baltimore), and portions of northern Virginia (Arlington/Falls Church/Alexandria, and Fairfax).

What to Expect:

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
  • Rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches expected late Friday night through Shabbos morning, with rain departing Shabbos afternoon.
  • Flooding may affect rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying areas, including urban and poor drainage areas and small streams.
  • Low-water crossings may be flooded.
