Tragedy in Crown Heights: Young bochur, 13-year-old Avrohom Chaim Feldman of Crown Heights, passed away suddenly.

Avrohom Chaim Feldman, a young bochur who was a student at Oholei Torah in Crown Heights, passed away on Thursday, 28 Av, 5776.

He was 13 years old and passed away suddenly while visiting his grandparents' home in Monsey, NY.

Chaim'ka was a beloved student at Oholei Torah school in Crown Heights. He recently returned from spending the summer at Yeshivas Kayitz in Westchester, where he was planning on returning for the Yeshiva next year.

"Chaim'ka was one of our finest talmidim," Rabbi Hershel Lustig, Dean of Oholei Torah told COLlive. "He was a yerei shomayim, a strong learner, had beautiful middos and was a chasidisher young bochur. Chaim'ka always had a smile on his face and was the life of his class. His friends and teachers will sorely miss him," he said.

His father, Mendel Feldman, is known as the caretaker of Empire Shteible Mikvah in Crown Heights.

He is survived by his parents, Mendel and Kaila Rivkah Feldmanand 8 siblings.

He is also survived by his grandparents, Mrs. Rachel Leah Feldman of Philadelphia and Yosef and Bina Shandling of Monsey, NY.

The levaya will take place today, Thursday, passing by 770 at 1:30 pm.
