It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rabbi Aaron Stefansky z”l. He was in his fifties.

Reb Aaron was a son of Rav and Rebbetzin Eliezer Stenfansky. His father, Rav Leizer, is a mashgiach at Beth Medrash Govoah in Lakewood, NJ.

Reb Aaron, a resident of Lakewood, NJ, was a noted machzik Torah, who supported numerous mekomos haTorah and mosdos hachinuch with great generosity.

His magnanimous nature connected him with many worthy causes, and Reb Aaron was always available to help and assist those in need, both on an individual level and at the klal level.

Likewise, the Stefansky home is a bais vaad lachachomim, thanks to the chesed of Reb Aaron and his wife, for whom every Torah cause was important.

Reb Aaron maintained an extremely close relationship with his rebbi, Rav Avrohom Yehoshua Soloveitchik, Rosh Yeshivas Brisk in Yerushalayim, and greatly assisted him in many ways, both public and private.

Reb Aaron was struck by illness, which ravaged him, but did not sap his spirit, which remained vibrant as he dealt with the difficult machlah that ultimately claimed his life.

Reb Aaron is survived by his parents, Rav Eliezer and Sora Stefansky; his devoted wife, Mrs. Chani Stefansky; their children; his siblings; as well as numerous relatives, friends and acquaintances mourning the loss of this most special person.

Yehi zichro boruch.
