Baltimore, MD – Aug. 8, 2023 - Baltimore’s average gas prices have risen 3.3 cents per gallon in the past week, reaching $3.77/g, and are 22.2 cents higher than a month ago but 16.3 cents lower than last year, according to FOX45.

The national average price of gasoline has increased 7.8 cents to $3.79/g in the last week, while diesel prices have risen 14.9 cents. The price differences within Baltimore range from $3.45/g to $4.09/g. Although gasoline price increases are slowing down and appear to have hit a peak, diesel prices are expected to continue rising. Factors like Saudi Arabia's extended production cut and potential hurricane season may impact future pricing.
