A new partnership will bring a network of water trails to Baltimore's Inner Harbor and Middle Branch communities.

The Waterfront Partnership announced the plan on Thursday, working with Mayor Brandon Scott, State Comptroller Brooke Lierman, Councilman Eric Costello, and officials from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

The plan includes a network of eight trails that will offer a water experience with multiple access points along the trail for those out on recreational activities. Participants will be able to paddleboard, among other things.

Funding for the plan was a joint effort between the Abell Foundation, South Baltimore Gateway Partnership, Baltimore National Heritage Area, and Waterfront Partnership.... Read More: FOX45
