Vice President Kamala Harris took the stage at Coppin State University Friday to announce a $20 billion clean energy loan program.

U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen was among those who joined her in the launch.

The program involves two new competitive grant programs: the National Clean Investment Fund and the Clean Communities Investment Accelerator.

$14 billion will be awarded to several nonprofits who will then give out loans to projects proposed by communities and local governments.... Read More: WBAL
