Baltimore City State's Attorney Ivan Bates, along with other city leaders, on Monday announced the arrests of five individuals involved in an alleged drug trafficking organization.

In January, the Baltimore City Police Department's Group Violence Unit began to investigate the alleged organization selling fentanyl operating out of the Shipley Hill neighborhood.

Officers said they identified five alleged members, Dane Kennedy, Michelle Taylor, Jaden Wingate, Kenneth Davis and Desean Parker. Police said they determined the group sold fentanyl out of two residences in the 300 block of Franklintown Road.

During a three month investigation, detectives said they conducted physical and aerial surveillance. On March 29, the five individuals were indicted by a grand jury.... Read More: WBAL
