Former President Trump left his Mar-a-Lago estate in West Palm Beach on Monday afternoon to travel to New York City for a court date on Tuesday, reports The Hill. As his motorcade departed, some supporters gathered near his estate and at the airport to cheer him on. Trump is accompanied by a handful of campaign aides for this trip. He will spend Monday night at Trump Tower in Manhattan before heading to the courthouse on Tuesday morning. The arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, following a grand jury indictment on criminal charges related to payments made during his 2016 campaign. The investigation, led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, focused on a $130,000 payment made by Michael Cohen before the election.
