It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Reb Moshe Bistricer z”l. He was 101 years old.

Rav Moshe was a survivor of the Holocaust who escaped the Nazi beast by hiding in Budapest. He married his wife Gittel and later immigrated to the United States, settling in New York.

Reb Moshe eventually founded a real estate management company and went on to purchase real estate of all kinds, building a massive real estate operation.

Reb Moshe utilized his largesse to support numerous individuals and mosdos, giving millions of dollars in tzedakah over the years.

The levayah will take place today at 10:30 a.m. at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 3803 14th Avenue in Brooklyn.

Reb Moshe is survived by his sons, R’ Dovid, R’ Yaakov and R’ Avrohom. He was predeceased by his daughter, Mrs. Chaya Reiss a”h, who passed away about nine years ago.
