Baltimore, MD - Jan. 6, 2016 - In what can only be described as an outpouring of love and support, the Baltimore community and the many out of town friends made the JEWELS fund raising campaign an incredible success.

JEWELS, the only Jewish Inclusive School in Baltimore, MD, for children with special needs and typically developing children, raised over 350K in 1day! It was absolutely stunning.

Over 1,100 different people contributed. The campaign was led by Jules (yes that really is his name) Friedman , Nechemia Weinreb with the assistance of  Rabbi Yisroel Fuchs, and Moshe Hefter as well as many other volunteers. It was launched to help the school continue to grow and develop as it meets the very costly needs of our children. What a job they did.

All the volunteers broke out in celebration late in the evening as the $350K goal was met. Each of the volunteers were either parents, staff, or friends associated with them. One can only imagine the emotions in the room. The comfort of knowing that over 1,100 friends care about this vital mission means the world to these families.

The JEWELS Board of directors, faculty, parents and precious children would like to say, Thank you Baltimore! You are truly amazing. Most importantly, thank you Hashem!
