Vehicle break-ins and thefts continue apace. It seems every night we have home break-ins, vehicle thefts... it just goes on an on. Last night, for example, a house on the 2400 block of Shellydale was broken into - pocketbook and car were both stolen.

SCN INFOSHARE: (United States) Anti-Israeli Demonstrators Plan Rallies in Major U.S. Cities

SITUATION UPDATE

This information is being shared for your situational awareness and is not linked to any specific or imminent threat targeting the American Jewish community at this time. According to SCN sources and social media monitoring, anti-Israeli demonstrators have planned a series of protests throughout the United States and around the world in response to a recent escalation of violence in Israel. The violence, which initially erupted following heightened tensions at the Temple Mount holy site, has included terrorist attacks and deadly clashes between Israeli security personnel and rioters in cities throughout Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. These events have received widespread global media coverage, encouraging pro-Palestinian activists to plan anti-Israeli demonstrations.

There is currently no information at this time to suggest that protests are specifically targeting American Jewish organizations or that threats exist against the American Jewish community. However, we are sharing preliminary details on the following planned protests for your situational awareness. In light of the possibility that demonstrators may plan activities in other locations throughout the country, we suggest that you remain in contact with your local law enforcement authorities about potential demonstrations. SCN will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as warranted on protests and other activities linked to the heightened tensions abroad.

Tampa, Florida: (16 October 2015, 4:00PM) Activists have scheduled to gather at 56th St. and Fowler Ave.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: (16 October 2015) Activists of the International Action Center have scheduled to protest at the Israeli Consulate located on 19th St. and JFK Blvd.
