Baltimore, MD - Aug. 27, 2024  - Two juveniles and two adults were indicted for their involvement in a series of commercial burglaries and attempted commercial burglaries of gun shops in Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore counties.

A 16-year-old boy from Upper Marlboro, a 17-year-old boy from Temple Hills, 19-year-old Cy’juan Hemsley of District Heights and and 20-year-old Mahkyia McQuinn-Woodley of Baltimore were indicted. At least 81 firearms were stolen from Federal Firearms Licensees.

Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown made the announcement on Tuesday, alongside the Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties police departments. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were also in attendance.

The four suspects began the crime spree on the vening of Dec. 24, 2023 at a gun shop in Prince George’s County. They attempted to rob four more gun stores the next day, but were unsuccessful.... Read More: WBAL
