Jerusalem, Israel - Dec. 28, 2016 - The Yerushalayim Old City streets around the Jewish Quarter were crowded with tours and tourists on the fifth night of Chanukah. Hundreds of people stopped to watch and listen to brochos on Chanukah menorahs along their way to the Kosel. Sounds of Al Hanisim filled the air.

Thousands of people were on the Kosel Plaza, while hundreds more were trying to enter the area for candle lighting and brochos. Former Israel Sefardi Chief Rav Shlomo Amar stood with Rav Shmuel Rabinovitch, the Rabbi of the Western Wall  and others to light the menorah.

All evenings of Chanukah tours of visitors wander the streets in the Rova to see the windows illuminated and streets lined with Chanukah menorahs. The evening of the fifth night was cool, but minus the rain from the previous day, perfect for a Chanukah family outing.
