The Iranian Jewish community, which is loyal to the state, has sent a consolation mission to the family of Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards.
The Behadrei Haredim site cited Jews in Iran as saying, “Many Jews attended the funeral. We went to comfort the general’s family. Rabbi Yehuda Gerami, Rabbi of Tehran, also went to pay condolences. He was joined by a distinguished delegation.”
