Baltimore, MD - Dec. 27, 2019 - On Sunday morning, December 15th, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and the First Lady, opened their home to their friends in the Jewish community for a pre-Chanukah celebratory brunch.

The annual event, which usually takes place during the eight day Festival of Lights, gathered together a large cross-section of Jewish communal leaders, including Jewish elected officials from all levels of government and from both political parties.

As in past years and with previous Maryland governors, the main sponsor of the brunch event was Mr. & Mrs. Leonard & Phyllis Attman.

In his remarks, Governor Hogan pledged his continued support of Maryland's Jewish communities, as well as the continued partnerships between the state of Maryland and Israel.

Once again, a commemorative kipah was made and given out to guests, merging Maryland and Israel, and including pictures of Governor Hogan at the Kotel Hamaravi (The Western Wall of the Temple Mount) from his trip a few years ago.
