Baltimore, MD - Feb. 27, 2019 - Groups of young men from TA, mostly 8th graders, gave a month of Sundays to sew vibrant pillowcases in support of American Jewish men and women who are deployed overseas. The 60 pillowcases with mural designs were created under the direction of Mrs. Bracha Strimber, the TA Middle School's English Department Chair who teaches both 7th and 8th grade Honors English, who has been supporting American military since Operation Desert Storm in 1990. The 60 pillowcases will be sent to KosherTroops.com where they will be included in Pesach Care Packages for deployed soldiers stationed in countries like Afghanistan- far from friends and family.
