While graduating from school is a milestone that everyone looks forward to, for parents of children with disabilities, the occasion can also spark unique questions and considerations about their child’s future.

What types of services are available? How will they handle the transition?

What career or job options are available? Will they have enough money to support themselves?

JCS Employment Support Services is offering “Shifting from School to Adulthood,” a free four-part workshop to help parents and caregivers of children with varying abilities navigate what can often be a confusing path.  The sessions take place each Thursday in February during Jewish Disability Awareness Month.
