Baltimore, MD - Dec. 18, 2018 - Being part of a community as wonderful as Baltimore, is a privilege. We are honored to call ourselves Cheder Chabad of Baltimore. The unity our community has is unparalleled by any other community.

Every organization or school uniquely benefiting the whole of the Baltimore Jewish community.

We are in awe by the outpouring of generosity we felt by other local schools, organizations and businesses. Our upcoming annual one day fundraiser taking place tomorrow, Dec. 19, is being advertised on lawns of many local schools, and walls of local businesses. A local school has graciously offered to lend us chrome books for the day of our fundraiser.

At Cheder Chabad the foundation of what we teach our students is Ahavas Yisroel, which can only be achieved through unity. This is why we jump at any opportunity we have to get involved with anything that benefits the Baltimore Community. We often take our students to local nursing homes to sing, visit and play games with residents. On Monday, December 3rd, the Cheder choir ushered in Chanuakah for the City of Baltimore in the presence of all council members, illuminating the City Hall. Once again uniting the community and brightening the city of Baltimore, literally! total student body of 258 children. More than 75% of whom are granted scholarships designed so that no Jewish child should be denied a Jewish education for lack of funds. The funds raised in the #BrighterTogether #200K1DAY campaign will go directly into the scholarship fund to ensure that the school can continue to provide quality Torah and general studies education regardless of a family’s income bracket.
