Baltimore, MD - Dec. 29, 2017 - So last night I got locked out of my car. In Baltimore. On one of the coldest nights of the year.

Thankfully, a volunteer from Chaverim of Baltimore was there within minutes and while it ended up taking a second volunteer and close to an hour, they were able to get me back into my car.

Without being asked, I immediately made an online donation to Chaverim to sponsor a lock out kit so that they can help others in my predicament.

If you're like me, your inbox is full of emails asking you to make an end of (tax) year donation. I ignored almost all of them, but gave to an organization that didn't ask me. Why? Because I saw the organization's value, I benefited from their work, and wanted to express my appreciation.

I'm currently working on a marketing piece for our government affairs division and would love to hear from you on why YOU support Agudath Israel. Is it because you believe in the overall mission to solve the problems facing the Jewish people under the unifying banner of Torah and with the guidance of Torah leaders or is it something specific that you benefited from (or hope to benefit from)?

One person told me he became a member this week because we helped his father (one of thousands helped by our constituent affairs department). Another donor said that although his children didn't attend Jewish schools, he appreciated our work on school choice and other school funding programs which make Jewish schools more affordable for families.

What aspect of our work is most important for you? Education? Religious freedom? Security (see our most recent NJ success and urgent federal action alert below)? Please email me at ADMotzen@agudathisrael.org to share your thoughts.
