Baltimore, MD - Dec. 23 2022 - On Sunday, December 18, Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic hosted a carnival-themed Chanukah party for over 260 people at Bnai Jacob Shaarei Zion in Baltimore. The event featured a variety of carnival games, live music, and delicious treats such as churros, hot pretzels, and ice cream rolls.

“Chai Lifeline is committed to spreading light to children and families impacted by serious illness,” said Racheli Daniel, director of Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic. “Programs like this, as well as our year-round services, remind our families that they are not alone and that we are all here for one another.”

Attendees were also treated to face painting, balloon art, and a moon bounce, as well as performances by a juggler and live singer. Kids were able to cash in their tickets for a wide range of prizes at the end of the event. In addition to the carnival fun, each attendee received customized gift bag, including an insulated lunch bag, beanie, traveling mug, and hot cocoa packet.

"We all can't stop talking about the special carnival on Sunday!" said one parent. "Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into the carnival today! The varied foods, the carnival booths, the show, the balloons, the swag, and the volunteers! Everyone was so warm and helpful!"

“Chai Lifeline is grateful to all of the volunteers who made this memorable event possible for these families facing difficult times,” said Daniel.
