Baltimore, MD - Nov. 12, 2022 - The Jewish War Veterans of Maryland and Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland (JUSA) hosted a Veterans Day Kaddish Service near the Jewish Section in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, one of the only such ceremonies in the Nation. Community members and local politicians attended the meaningful service led by Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum, director of the Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland-Chabad and Chaplain of the Jewish War Veterans of Maryland.

The service began with the commander of the Jewish War Veterans of Maryland COL Erwin Burtnick, USA (Ret), welcoming everyone to the service and speaking about the uniqueness of the Jewish section at the Veterans Cemetery. Councilman Izzy Patoka, Delegates Jon Cardin and Dana Stein each thanked the Veterans for their service. The service concluded with the reciting of the Kaddish in memory of our fallen Veterans and heroes.
