Baltimore, MD - Nov. 9, 2021  - On November 27th there will be a Pre-Chanukah concert at Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah (Liberty Jewish Center) at 7:30 PM featuring musician, artist, and author Yisroel Juskowitz. The suggested donation is $10-$20 which would go toward Rabbi Shapiro's Fund to bring more music to Baltimore.

Yisroel has been featured in dozens of Jewish magazines, websites, and blogs, including Aish.com, Mishpacha Magazine, Arutz Sheva, and the Nachum Segal Show. He has toured throughout the country inspiring Jews of all walks of life and ages. Listen to one of his songs here.

Yisroel considers his greatest musical influence to be the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach of blessed memory, but he also attributes some influence from D'Veykus, and Simon and Garfunkel. He also was influenced by some contemporary singers such as Shlomo and Eitan Katz, who both sang harmonies on some of his songs.

Yisroel has also authored several books, including a recent book featuring inspiring stories of converts to Judaism. However, his greatest achievement was his first book "The Hidden Path" which received widespread critical acclaim from such well-known people as former Senator Joe Lieberman, Charlie Harary, Lori Palatnik, and Rabbi Moshe Weinberger. Yisroel gave a series of lectures based on the book for Aish Hatorah in New York and Washington DC. Click here to find out more about Yisroel's first book.

Yisroel also spends time working on oil painting portraits, usually of families or famous rabbinical personalities such as seen here.
