Baltimore, MD - Aug. 12, 2021 - The Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) hosted a very successful COVID-19 clinic yesterday in the parking lot of Seven Mile Market, vaccinating over 70 people, many of which were from the orthodox Jewish community. Some people received the one-dose J&J vaccine, and the others who received the Pfizer vaccine will return for their second doses on Wednesday, September 1st, when the clinic will be held there again. There was a large crowd when “the doors” opened, and everyone’s patience was greatly appreciated as the BCHD and LifeBridge staff worked to give individuals the attention they needed. Some women who requested privacy were vaccinated on the LifeBridge bus located onsite.
The BCHD is very grateful to the owners and management of Seven Mile Market for their kindness in allowing a portion of their parking lot to be used for this purpose. This location offered a perfect opportunity for other members of the larger diverse community to get vaccinated as well.
