Jerusalem, Israel - May 27, 2021 - Once again, Israelis are asking how suspected Christian missionaries gained Israeli citizenship?
Reports surfaced, on May 27, 2021, concerning a dossier focusing on Timothy and Anna Michelle Buckles, sent by the NGO Beyneynu to Israel’s Ministry of the Interior. The American couple who made aliyah in 2017, it was revealed, are suspected missionaries.
BJL went to the last known address for Tim Buckles and his wife Anna and spoke to an acquaintance who knew the family, as they had children in the same gan (pre-school). "We figured out that they are Christian right after we met them. They had a very strange back story and we told people, most people in the gan knew, including the ganenet. The Americans in the gan knew because we told each other."
The Buckles were not remembered to have attended gan functions. They did not say they were Christian and acted very Jewish. "No Israeli would guess, but we thought they were weird. Like who’s name is Timothy Buckles," the young mother added.

Videos of Tim Buckles on YouTube talking about Yeshu were known to the parents.
When the Buckles' daughter was accepted to Gonenim school last year an email was sent to the principal telling her about the family and the principal responded, “thank you.” But did anyone follow up?
Their little girl, age 5 at the time, was heard to say her little brother's name is Idan Yeshua. “What a nice name, Idan Yehoshua?” To which she responded, “No, Idan Yeshua. Because Yeshua was very special.”
People who routinely saw the family at gan pick up, report they haven’t been seen in a week or two.
This was Anna Michelle Buckles Facebook image before it was removed. She did not dress the same this last year, but wore pants/ jeans and didn’t cover her hair or wore a small headband.
However, please notice the image on the back of her shirt.

Beyneynu is a non-profit organization that monitors missionary activity in Israel and works with government and community leaders to create awareness of the challenges facing the public and to facilitate the establishment of proper boundaries in their partnerships with faith-based organizations.
The recently exposed story of evangelical leader Michael Elk, who called himself Rabbi Michael Elkohen, came as a shock to many Israelis. Now the Buckles appear to be another chapter in this evolving story of Christian missionaries, posing as religious Jews, to convert unsuspecting Israelis. While not illegal, it is disconcerting to have missionaries activity trying to convert Jews in covert ways, living in the neighborhood.
