Despite the cool weather, Israelis exploited the lifting of Covid-19 measures, enjoying outdoor activities

More than 50,000 Israelis flocked to the country’s national parks and nature reserves on Saturday, Israel’s Nature and Parks Authority said in a statement.

Despite the cool temperatures and strong winds for this time of year, many citizens were drawn to various attractions throughout the cities, such as Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park.

In the north, snow has covered Mount Hermon, and not for the first time this year. Light snowfall was also expected later tonight in the Golan Heights.
