Mr. Trump is not my ideal candidate for President.  I would sooner vote for Rav Aharon Feldman, Rav Yosef Berger or Rav Hershel Schachter.  However, not one of those leaders was nominated for the office.  In his Op-Ed, Reb Jay has alleged several serious flaws in Mr. Trump's character and behavior.  Even if those allegations would be correct (I do not believe that they are all true.  Those which are true are not completely true.), the presidential choice boils down to exactly one question with exactly two answers, "Who is the better candidate, Mr. Biden or Mr. Trump?"    Effectively, a vote for Mr. Biden is a vote against Mr. Trump, and vice versa.  I have never seen or heard of snow in Polynesia and I have never seen or heard of a politician without flaws.

Almost all of Jay's criticisms (and others as well) can be directed also at Mr. Biden.  Mr. Biden is a racist ("... he'll put y'all back in chains", "Poor kids are just as smart as white kids.")  Mr. Biden has suffered serious mental deterioration (no proof necessary).  Personally, I never confused Mr. Trump with the Chofetz Chaim.  Our media has dishonestly scrutinized Mr. Trump’s “extracurricular behavior” and ignored Mr. Biden’s inappropriate behavior. However, if such behavior is to be considered grounds not to vote for an incumbent, the same standard must be applied to the incumbent’s opponent(s).   Mr. Biden was part of the Obama administration which acted horribly and harmfully against Israel.  In contrast, Mr. Trump moved the embassy, and has started a Middle East peace process (unprecedented across 70+ years).  Last week, Mr. Trump recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan and changed the "born in Jerusalem" passport rule.  My granddaughter, Chaya Rivka, probably the first member of our family to be born in Eretz Yisrael in about 1900 years, will soon have a United States passport which will report her place of birth as Jerusalem Israel, not just Jerusalem.

Mr. Trump has established a nearly four-year record of accomplishment.  He rightly asserts that he has accomplished more in 47 months than Mr. Biden has accomplished in 47 years.  Mr. Biden's view on the Israeli presence in "The West Bank" is congruent with that of the hostile view of most countries.  In contrast, last week, Mr. Trump changed United States policy and approved financial support for Israeli scientific research to be conducted in "The West Bank."  Mr. Trump’s Department of Education recently established protections for Jewish students on college campuses.

Mr. Biden has committed to raising income taxes and other taxes, declaring an amnesty to cover those millions who have entered the United States illegally, adopting AOC's Green New Deal, extending ObamaCare to illegal immigrants (thereby violating Mr. Obama's explicit commitment not to do so), and reallocating financial support for (i.e., defunding) policing.  Mr. Biden publicly admitted to coercing Ukraine to terminate the prosecutor who was investigating Hunter Biden’s “financial activities.”  It was many weeks before Mr. Biden was able to whisper a word of disapproval for the horrific anti-police / anti-property violence perpetrated by various Anti-Trump groups.  Does anyone wonder why the entities of China, Iran, the Palestinian Authority, Antifa and Black Lives Matter oppose Mr. Trump's campaign?

In 2019, Mrs. Pelosi appointed freshman representative, radical Islamist, Jew-hating Ilhan Omar, to the powerful Foreign Affairs Committee.  If you want to see the possible appointment of Mr. Keith Ellison (Minnesota's radical Islamist State Attorney General and an admirer of Rev. Louis Farrakhan) as Attorney General of the United States and AOC to some important cabinet position, the end of America's favorable fossil fuel circumstance, the "packing" of the Supreme Court, resurrecting the nuclear deal with the Muslim crazies in Iran, and other disastrous policies and decisions, vote for Mr. Biden and observe the destruction of the United States of America as we know it.  If elected, when Mr. Biden leaves office before the end of his term, likely sooner than later, Kamala Harris, the most radical Democrat in the United States Senate, will become President.  Several months ago, she was such a strong candidate that she had to drop her unpopular candidacy before the first Democratic primary!

I thought that Mr. Biden's declaration that voters have no entitlement to know his possible nominations to the Supreme Court before his election was revealing.  Obviously, among the Democrat leadership, Mrs. Pelosi’s “We will have to pass the legislation before we learn what it says,” trumps Mr. Trump’s “Truth in Packaging.”  I recall that Mr. Trump published his list of 20+ potential Supreme Court nominees before the 2016 election.    Imagine the blackmail potential of the information on Hunter Biden’s laptop.  Mr. Biden participated in Obama Administration meetings which considered and planned the Russian Collusion plot to harm Mr. Trump’s presidency.  In my mind, Mr. Biden legitimately belongs in the category of those who never say anything intelligent – they are Babel-Onlyans.

If elected, Mr. Biden will continue Mr. Obama's transformational presidency pledge which I recast as, "Give me your dollars.  I'll give you some change."

Finally, I believe, "Biden's laptop matters."  Don't bump Trump.  Support patriotism not hatriotism!
