Israeli military launches manhunt after two other Palestinians involved in incident

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops opened fire Monday evening on three Palestinians who hurled Molotov cocktails at the force, near the Jewish settlement of Einav in the West Bank.

One was hit and killed, as the IDF launched a manhunt after the other two.

No injuries were sustained to the Israeli soldiers.

"A short while ago, during IDF routine activity adjacent to a military post near the community of Einav, south of Jenin, IDF troops spotted three assailants who hurled Molotov cocktails at them," the IDF spokesperson confirmed in a statement.

"The troops responded with fire and a hit to one of the assailants was identified. No IDF injuries were reported. IDF troops are searching the area in order to locate the other two assailants," the IDF added. Read more at i24
