Baltimore, MD - Sept. 1, 2020 - Since its inception in 2007, Agudath Israel of Maryland, under the leadership of Rabbi Ariel Sadwin, has been vital to the material and spiritual life of the Jewish communities across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region, both collectively and to every Jew individually.
Whether you send your children to a Jewish day school, you attend a local shul, or even if you don't, Agudah Maryland has proved to be vital, time and time again.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Agudah MD was vital on countless fronts of Jewish life. Its impact on schools and school families in the form of education funding, tuition benefits, grants of all types, has long been well known, as has its impact on securing the safety of shuls. Its impact on our ability to live as Jews upholding our sacred religious traditions and values, has been tested and proven on countless occasions. Its impact on each and every person who reaches out with any government related issue or concern, is one of the treasures of our community.
However, its vital nature has been especially acute during the pandemic, as all aspects of life-health, education, advocacy, work, community, religion, family-were suddenly upended.
As Agudah MD is vital to you, you are vital to Agudah MD.
When a pandemic ravages our country and state, Agudah MD is there for you. When Shuls and schools shutter, Agudah MD opens possibilities and provides critical leadership. When a vital health crisis has to be addressed, Agudah MD is ready to serve in any capacity. When our community needs a vital advocate, Agudah MD is already there. Agudah MD exists for one reason: to serve you and to serve our people.
You are vital to us.
You are vital for us.
Your partnership is vital. Your support will help ensure the continuity of the services and leadership we provide to our families, our schools, and our shuls.
Thank you for giving. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for empowering Agudah MD to empower the present and future of our communities!
