With close to 90% of the final results counted, Israel’s Joint List alliance looks certain to gain its highest electoral achievement in history, reaching 15 mandates in the 23rd Knesset.

Comprising of four smaller Arab-majority parties, the List may end up with two more parliament seats than in the previous elections in September, 2019.

“I want to thank our public, the Arab public as well as many of the Jewish public that supported the List,” alliance chairman Ayman Odeh said on Tuesday morning as voting results trickled in.
