Jerusalem, Israel - June 5, 2018 - The 9th Temech Conference, Dive In - to Business Success" was held in the International Conference Center Jerusalem on Tuesday, with 1000 Israeli women in attendance. The annual conference is dedicated to Orthodox Jewish women who are aspiring to advance their professional potential.

Temech is a nonprofit organization established in 2005, committed to empowering and training Orthodox Israeli women to maximize their employment opportunities and gain financial security. Temech programs are initiated by and tailored to Orthodox women, under the leadership of CEO Shaindy Babad. Orthodox rabbinic leadership in Israel and abroad support Temech's programs. 

The conference Hebrew sessions were attended by close to 800 women, while the Anglo sessions had approximately 200 women. The two groups came together in the large Teddy Hall for lunch, and the afternoon musical entertainment by singer and composer Miri Israel.

Rav Mordechai Burg, originally from the Five Towns, menahel Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion and Rebbe of NCSY Kollel, gave opening divrei bracha."The Ultimate Life Preserver for Life's Challenges" - emunah, and self-confidence as a Torah value. Faith to say in times of stress, "you are here for a purpose, where you are supposed to be."

First speaker on the English track was consultant Dov Gordon, who addressed business goals and how to land target clients. Rae Ringel, a faculty member at the Georgetown University Institute for Transformational Leadership  and  president of Ringel Group, spoke on leadership development and how to make a proper request.

Following a late coffee break Yael Glazer and Nirit Cohen gave one of 3 workshop sessions. Alina Shkolinov presented on business models, and the third group of Hebrew and English speakers were involved with an interactive game to identify partners and competitors. 

The English sessions were moderated by Naomi Elbinger.  Business sponsors had displays in the exhibition hall, from children's clothing to sefarim. Networking, time to catch up with friends, and make new business contacts are features of all Temech programs.
