Hamas and Islamic Jihad praised Friday the terror attack near Dolev settlement that killed 17-year-old Rina Shnreb, but refrained from claiming responsibility for it.

In Friday’s main sermon in the Gaza Strip, Hamas leader Ismail Haniya said “this is a heroic attack which we don’t know who stands behind it and who planned it, but it, among others, prove that Jerusalem will explode,” reported Hebrew-language YNET News outlet.

In a statement issued earlier by Hamas, it was stated that the attack took place “on the 50th anniversary to the burning of the al-Aqsa mosque and clarifies that our people did not and will not abandon the al-Aqsa mosque even for one day, whoever the victims might be.”
