Maryland lawmakers are reacting to President Joe Biden's state of the union address on Tuesday night.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen said the president laid out the groundwork for the progress they've made.

"He shared how we’ll continue to build on that progress to grow more prosperity and more opportunity for all," Hollen said in a statement. "I am committed to working alongside him to continue to strengthen our democracy, protect the rights of Americans, create an economy that works for everyone, and build a more perfect union.”

Sen. Ben Cardin, with guest Gov. Wes Moore, was also in attendance at what was his 36th State of the Union address.... Read More: WBAL
