Light snowfall was hit or miss this week, but another chance of snow is in the weekend forecast for part of Maryland, followed by more Arctic air next week.

A string of cold weather may extend into next week, and bring another chance for a snowstorm to Maryland next weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

AccuWeather forecasters said an Alberta clipper storm will send an Arctic blast into Maryland by Sunday. Snow or some flurries may reach part of the mid-Atlantic coast later Sunday with spotty accumulations in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, the network said.
