Payroll Specialist

About the Position

The BD Health corporate office is seeking a friendly and organized person to join our upbeat team.

We are happy to train the right person!

Can be a Part-Time or Full-Time position

Job Responsibilities:

Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
Compute wages and deductions, and enter data.
Review timesheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from timesheets and other records.
Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
Process and review productivity reports and discrepancy tracking reports.
Conduct administrative projects as assigned.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
Experience with HRIS software preferred (ADP & Paychex)
Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player
