The Torah School of Greater Washington, located in Silver Spring, MD, is an Orthodox Jewish day school spanning Grades K-6 with a dual, religious and secular, curriculum. About the Position

The Torah School is currently seeking General Studies educators for Grades 4 and 6. This includes for all secular subjects—ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. However, at the 6th grade level, classes are semi-departmentalized, with one teacher who is responsible for teaching ELA and Geography, and the other teacher responsible for teaching Math and Science. In addition, we are also looking for Teaching Assistants.

The Torah School requires all teachers to have a BA degree and at least one year of classroom teaching experience at the desired grade level(s). (We do offer a comprehensive onboarding and mentoring program for new teachers.)
