During the week following Labor Day, MyBGE will return to Reisterstown Road to perform preventative maintenance work on its underground transmission circuit. This will result in the modification of vehicular and pedestrian traffic along Reisterstown Road north of the intersection with McDonogh Road and Craddock Lane as follows:

Two northbound lanes will remain open but be shifted to allow for the work zone. The left-turn lane from southbound Reisterstown Road to eastbound Cradock Lane will be closed and detoured.

To access Cradock Lane when traveling southbound on Reisterstown Road, motorists will be directed to turn left on Avalon Way and turn left on Greene Tree Road to Cradock Lane.

The sidewalk along northbound MD 140 from Cradock Lane and Crossroads Drive will be
closed.

Next week, customers living within a one-mile radius of the work will receive the attached letter, which includes the details of the modifications and a map depicting the area.

BGE is working with the Maryland State Highway Administration to coordinate online notifications and media alerts to share the information with as many stakeholders as possible.

You may recall that BGE performed similar work around Hooks Lane earlier this year, as well as the Next Act Cinema and at this same location during the spring of 2018.

This is a multiyear effort to ensure the reliability of our transmission infrastructure.
