The Associated Presents Julius Rosenberg Award

Baltimore, MD -  In honor of his outstanding leadership in the Jewish community, Brett Cohen was presented with The Julius Rosenberg Memorial Award from The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. The Julius Rosenberg Memorial Award, presented annually, recognizes a young person who shows outstanding personal contribution and commitment to the highest ideals of Jewish community building.

Cohen is the immediate past IMPACT Chair, the young adult division of The Associated. During his two- year tenure, Cohen made a concerted effort to ensure that IMPACT was engaging young families in a meaningful way. 

In addition, Cohen has served on the Baltimore-Odessa Partnership Committee. Cohen is a member of The Associated’s National Young Leadership Cabinet and a past recipient of the Harry Greenstein Young Leadership Award in 2015, which recognizes individuals who  have demonstrated a profound commitment and sustained leadership to The Associated, its annual campaign and the general community.

Outside of his work with The Associated, Cohen is the owner of Kitchen Saver, Inc., a kitchen remodeling firm serving the Mid-Atlantic region. He lives in Pikesville with his wife Julie and son Benjamin. 

A former campaign director at The Associated, Julius Rosenberg was a role model and mentor who inspired colleagues and volunteers alike to take an active role in The Associated’s Annual Campaign. The award is made possible by Rosenberg’s family and friends. As a recipient of this distinguished award, Cohen has demonstrated his ability to lead effectively and make lasting contributions to The Associated’s Annual Campaign. He will have the opportunity to travel to Israel in the next three years.
