Jerusalem, Israel - Nov. 30, 2016 - On November 29, 1947, the United Nations passed Resolution #181 voting to re-establish a Jewish state in Eretz Yisrael. However, hypocrisy and "Zionism is Racism" have taken over the international body. UNESCO resolutions promote historical revisionism. 85% of the United Nations General Assembly resolutions condemn Israel.

A conference, "The UN Vote Then and Now" was held in Jerusalem, Israel, on November 29, 2016 to discuss Zionism and the UN. The Israel Forever Foundation, IFF, the Zionist Council in Israel, and AACI, Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel sponsored the event.  Dr. Elana Heideman, IFF founder and Executive Director, acted as moderator.

Yaakov Hagoel, Vice and acting Chairman of World Zionist Organization, spoke in Hebrew with his remarks translated into English for the audience of Anglo olim.

The morning program, which focused on the impact of public diplomacy shaping social action, was moderated by Steve Linde, former editor of the Jerusalem Post. Presenters were Barry Shaw, Olga Deutsch, Avital Leibovish, Asher Fredman, and Ashley Perry.
