Baltimore, MD - Aug. 15, 2025 - Two illegal aliens are facing charges after assaulting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, and resisting arrest by Federal law enforcement.

Adolfo Nimrod Hernandez-Ramos, 42, a Honduran citizen and national, and Tony Marcos Ferreira-Dos Santos, 30, a Brazilian citizen and national, are charged with assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, and interfering with federal officers in separate incidents. Both men are unlawfully in the United States.

On June 6, ICE officers found that Hernandez-Ramos had entered the U.S. without inspection, in violation of federal law.

Officers conducted surveillance in the area of Hernandez-Ramos' Catonsville home, and ICE officers saw him his home and enter a vehicle.

ICE officers followed Hernandez-Ramos to a nearby shopping center where he parked his car.

When law enforcement approached, Hernandez-Ramos exited his vehicle and began running.

Authorities said that when an officer attempted to grab Hernandez-Ramos' arm, he pulled away and ran inside a store.

When officers attempted to arrest him, Hernandez-Ramos kicked at them, flailed his arms, grabbed a table, and attempted to prevent his arrest by clinching his arms and legs together.

Authorities said they eventually secured one handcuff, but Hernandez-Ramos grabbed the open handcuff and threatened an officer by saying, "I'm going to slice your eye out."

Eventually, Hernandez-Ramos was taken into custody, and officers suffered several injuries during the arrest, officials said.

On June 8, two ICE officers arrived at a Wicomico County location.

The officers were both wearing tactical vests with the word "POLICE" on the front and back of the vests.

At that time, the officers recognized a person who was the subject of a final removal order, and a second person identified as Ferreira-Dos Santos.

When authorities approached the men, both of them attempted to flee.

After arresting the person in connection with a final order of removal, ICE officers found Ferreira-Dos Santos.

When they attempted to take him into custody, authorities said he resisted arrest and physically struggled with the officers before eventually being taken into custody.

Kelly O. Hayes, U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, announced the criminal complaints against both men.
