Baltimore County, MD – August 7, 2025 – A Jewish-owned, Israel-supporting business was targeted in what is being described as a hate crime early this morning, after vandals defaced the property with red paint.

The red paint was splattered across the walkway, the door, and flags displayed on-site. Both the Israeli and American flags were visibly desecrated — the Israeli flag defaced entirely, and the American flag smeared in red. Community members say the act was clearly targeted and not random vandalism.

“This was antisemitism. This was hate — loud and clear,” a friend of the business owner stated. “If this happened to any other group, it would already be national news. But when it happens to the Jewish community, we’re told to stay quiet.”

In a powerful response, the speaker emphasized that the intent behind the attack was to intimidate, shame, and silence the Jewish community — but that it would not succeed. “He will not cower. He will not be silenced. He is stronger, louder, and more united than ever before.”

The community is calling on residents to stand up against antisemitism, support Jewish-owned businesses, and demand action from the authorities.

“This is not just about one business,” the statement continued. “This is about what kind of community we’re willing to tolerate. We deserve to feel safe. We deserve to be proud. We deserve to be visible — without fear. Enough is enough.”

The Baltimore County Police Department has been notified. Community members are urging a full investigation and appropriate response.
