Baltimore, MD - March 13, 2025 - The Balt311 mobile app is currently experiencing intermittent outages, the city announced Thursday.
According to social media posts by the city, efforts are already underway to resolve the issue, but residents are encouraged to use alternative methods to access city services in the meantime.
For assistance, you can submit service requests by calling 311 or by visiting the city’s online portal at Baltimore 311 Online.
Balt311, Baltimore’s non-emergency communication platform, enables users to report problems, request city services, check previously submitted requests, or learn about city programs and events.
Introduced as the nation’s first 3-1-1 system in October 1996, Baltimore 311 has served as a vital link for the community. Over the years, the system has processed more than 13 million service requests for issues like street repairs, trash removal, and other city services.
In 2017, for example, the program resolved nearly 807,000 requests, with an average resolution time of just under five days. Whether via live call, mobile app, or the web portal, 311 remains a trusted access point for connecting citizens to city services.
The city apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the app’s temporary outage and appreciates your understanding as they work to bring the Balt311 mobile service back online.
