Baltimore, MD - Mar. 11, 2024 - Gas prices in Baltimore are slightly higher than they were a month ago, but prices are slightly lower than they were this time last year, according to a new report.
A new GasBuddy survey shows that gas prices in Baltimore are 7.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 1.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
Average gas prices in Baltimore have fallen 0.7 cents per gallon in the last week, bringing the average price to $3.30 per gallon today. GasBuddy's survey included 663 gas stations in Baltimore.
According to the report, the cheapest gas station in Baltimore was priced at $3.03 per gallon yesterday. On the flip side, the most expensive gas station had a price of $3.97 per gallon, a difference of 94 cents per gallon.
The lowest price in the state yesterday was $3.03 per gallon while the highest was $4.49 per gallon, a difference of $1.46 per gallon, says the report.

GasBuddy compiled state from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
The report says that the national average price of gasoline has risen 6.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.40 per gallon today. The national average is up 23 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 4.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy.
The national average price of diesel has fallen 1.3 cents in the last week, and the current price stands at $4.02 per gallon.
