An Invitation To Join Together With Others At Ohel Moshe Who Will Be Fasting On Yom Kippur Kotton, Adding The Extra Additions For A Fast Day.

Yom Kippur Kotton is upon us again this Thursday, Mar. 7.

As we approach Adar Beis and the Yom Tov of Purim, we recall how it was the Jews responding to the call of the ‘hostage’, Queen Esther, who appealed, צומו עלי, summoning her people to designate days of fasting and prayer, that brought about the miraculous salvation.

In that vein I beseech all of you to join us at Ohel Moshe on Smith Ave this Thursday at 5:15 pm for this special Tefilla , and if you are up to it to fast so that we can Lein and recite the Haftorah, and add Aneinu.

Please PM me at 410.570.3333 of your intention to fast and I will confirm that we will have at least ten.
Hope to see you all join and emulate our ancestors who brought about the miracle of Purim!

PS: One must accept the fast in the special text in Elokai Netzor, at Mincha on Wednesday.
If you miss saying it there as long as you recite the text before sunset tomorrow, Wednesday, it suffices.
