Annapolis, MD - Feb. 13, 2024 - (FOX45) A recent poll conducted by Gonzales Research indicates a slight decrease in Maryland Governor Wes Moore's approval rating compared to the previous survey. In the latest poll, 58% of registered voters approve of Gov. Moore's performance, down from 60% in September 2023. Approval ratings show a partisan divide, with 74% of Democrats approving, 57% of Republicans disapproving, and 52% of independent voters approving. Disapproval rates are highest among residents of the Eastern Shore and Western Maryland. Approval ratings vary across age groups, with the highest approval (63.4%) among those aged 18 to 34 and the highest disapproval (32%) among those aged 50 to 64. The poll, conducted from January 23 to February 4, surveyed 815 registered Maryland voters by phone, with a margin of error of 3.5%.
