Baltimore, MD - Jan. 19, 2024 - Dozens of flights at Baltimore/Washington International Airport were delayed or canceled on Friday morning due to lingering snow in Maryland, according to Pikesville Patch. By 11 a.m., 16 flights were canceled, and 159 were delayed at BWI. The airport also experienced increasing delays, averaging 1 hour and 10 minutes for departures and 54 minutes for arrivals. Nearby, Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport had 171 canceled flights and 152 delayed flights, with delays averaging 41 minutes. A winter storm warning is in effect for parts of Maryland, with snow accumulations and slippery roads expected, followed by bitter cold temperatures.
