Baltimore, MD – Dec. 15, 2023 - Harav Yissochor Dov Eichenstein, Rav of Mercaz Torah U’Tefillah, led a Maamad Hadlaka followed by a Zos Chanukah Tish on Thursday evening, the 8th night of Chanukah. The Shul, along with a large contingency from the community, including many Rabbonim, watched as Rabbi Eichenstein kindled the Menorah in grand fashion, marking the last night of Chanukah.
The crowd was inspired by the tefillos and brachos of the Rav and enthusiastically joined in Zemiros, led by The Zemiros Choir, following the lighting. The Tish that followed added to the kedusha of the night and continued with Divrei Hisorerus from the Rav, a keynote address by Rabbi Yakov Frand, more zemiros, and delicious food. The event came to a close as Harav Eichenstein distributed Chanukah gelt to all attendees.
