The Ministry of Health has updated that after 51 days in captivity, Alma Avraham, aged 84, arrived on Sunday at Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva in serious condition.

Her family members will meet her at the hospital.

Soroka's staff received Avraham and immediately began a medical examination. "She underwent an initial medical examination to evaluate her condition and the needed care in order to give her appropriate medical treatment," the hospital stated.

Later, the hospital updated that Alma's condition is life-threatening.

14 Israeli citizens and three foreign nationals returned to Israel after being released as part of a deal with Hamas, which will also see the release of Palestinian Arab terrorists who did not murder from Israeli prisons, a four-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the allowance of humanitarian aid to be delivered to civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier on Sunday, Red Cross representatives transferred 12 hostages over to IDF special forces and ISA forces adjacent to the border fence in the central Gaza Strip. From there, they made their way to the Hatzerim Base.

An additional released hostage who returned to Israel, 84-year-old Elma Avraham, is in serious condition and was evacuated via a helicopter directly to a hospital.

The IDF later announced special forces and ISA forces were accompanying four released hostages - an Israeli and three foreign nationals - who were at the Kerem Shalom Crossing inside Israeli territory. The released hostages will be flown by helicopter directly to hospitals. Among those four hostages was Roni Krivoi, a dual Israeli-Russian citizen who was released following the intervention of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
